Create a sheet

Start a new, blank spreadsheet in a space and give it a name.

  1. Click Documents in the left sidebar and open the space.
  2. Click New, then Sheet.

The new sheet opens right away, named "Untitled workbook".

You can also right-click a space or a folder in the space list, then choose New → Sheet. The sheet is saved in that spot.

Rename a sheet

  • In the open sheet, click its name at the top left, type the new name, and press Enter.
  • Or, in the space's file list, click More actions next to the sheet, then Rename.

Saving

Pitchcrow saves each change as you make it. When everything is saved, the top right of the sheet says Saved.

Lost your internet connection? Keep working. The top of the sheet says something like "Offline — 3 changes waiting". Your changes save on their own when you're back online. If you try to close the tab before then, your browser asks first.

Good to know

  • You need to be an Admin or Editor of the space to create or rename a sheet. See Space roles.
  • Everyone who can open the space can see the new sheet. Viewers see View only at the top. They can look, copy, and comment, but can't change anything.
